The Full Story
CVF began as a personal mission to help San Antonio veteran families in need and has since partnered with other organizations to forge stronger bonds with the community. We continue to serve those who signed that dotted line to protect our freedoms. Whether that comes in the form of rent, groceries, and utilities, or revering the many military heroes laid to rest, we are committed to preserving the honor and deference our veterans deserve.
CVF Enterprises, Inc dba Community for Veteran Families is a 501©3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving families of veterans in the local community. We raise funds to help with living expenses, medical expenses, handicap modifications, scholarships, and much more. Our organization gives back funds raised to veteran's families directly or through other non-profits that assist with special needs.
Everyone in our organization is a volunteer and receives no monetary compensation.
We proudly partner with other organizations to create a stronger bond in the community at large and to help take care of families of veterans who have given us so much- our freedom!
In the past we have helped Veterans and their families with rent, utilities, groceries, car payments, insurance payments, and after-school activities for their children, just to name a few.
We have partnered with The San Antonio Young Marines in their effort to remember those men and women laid to rest at San Antonio National Cemetery, thru Wreaths Across America. The $5 per wreath we receive back from WAA for wreaths purchased is used in our efforts to help our Veterans.
We have also partnered with American Legion Post 179 in New Braunfels, TX, and American Legion Post 245 in Seguin, TX. We are always willing to partner with other organizations in their efforts to help our Area Veterans.
After a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are ramping up our efforts to again support our veterans and their needs and would welcome all help in that effort.
